JOHN DEL RIO

John has worked in the outdoor industry since 2009 and is an expert at delivering exciting adventure activities in many different sports. He is experienced in: Stand Up Paddleboarding, Canoeing, Kayaking, Raft Building, Bell boating, Archery, Bush Craft, Woodland activities, Low Ropes Courses, Team Building / Problem Solving, Mountain Biking, Orienteering, Mountaineering, Duke Of Edinburgh Expeditions and has lead Overseas Expeditions to Nepal, India, Vietnam, Cambodia, Tanzania, Madagascar, Costa Rica, Sri Lanka and Peru.

Ever since I was a child, I have had a massive interest in the outdoors and I am now lucky enough to be able to do what I love everyday as my full time job! I am passionate about delivering a fun, safe and enjoyable outdoor learning experience and it brings me such joy when I see smiles on faces and hear laughter from the participants enjoying spending quality time outdoors learning new skills.

Our Location

You will find us by the banks of a beautiful stretch of the River Thames, near Witney in Oxfordshire!

We operate from close to the Rose Revived Public House in Newbridge near Standlake.

It is arguably one of the most picturesque stretches of the River Thames and perfect for building confidence and developing skills on the water. With a choice of wonderful Public Houses the Maybush Pub and the Rose Revived Pub to enjoy refreshments after working hard on the board, what could be better?
